Chase Rowe

As Manager of Data Science, Chase Rowe leads the teams developing and maintaining the AI models powering Fracta’s advanced condition assessment solutions. Under his leadership, the data science team refines analytical techniques and ensures the accuracy of Fracta’s insights, helping utilities make smarter, data-driven decisions about their buried assets.

Chase joined Fracta in 2022 as a data scientist, bringing expertise in machine learning, data science, and statistics. Prior to Fracta, he developed cutting-edge machine learning models for detecting cyberattacks at UC Davis’s Security Operations Center. Chase played a pivotal role in creating the latest version of Fracta’s Likelihood of Failure model, which enhances utilities’ ability to prioritize infrastructure investments.

Chase is passionate about using data science for social good. In his free time, he works on personal projects analyzing the impacts of historical city planning on systemic racism and building methods to monitor and track cyberattack campaigns targeting residential networks.
